A former UTLA Chapter Chair and veteran educator across multiple Southern California districts, Roger knows firsthand that when our union is strong, students thrive, teachers rise, and communities win. He’s led from the classroom to the council table—as department chair at San Fernando MS, school site council leader, and trusted advocate—always putting educators and students first. Now, he’s stepping up to defend what’s ours: our rights, our health benefits, and our power to shape the future of public education.
